Whether you already have a furry friend/mastiff family member, or your on the fence about which type of mastiff is right for you, we think this poll will provide you with some insight to make a decision, or at least give you an excuse to hug your pup! And The Winner is…The English Mastiff!
60% of Mastiff Info voters selected the english mastiff as the best mastiff breed. Why? Well here’s a few reasons we suspect the EM came out on top.
- English Mastiffs are known for their gentle and loving nature. Cuddle up!
- EM’s get massive! Did you know and English Mastiff named Zorba holds the largest weight ever recorded for a dog? Impressive, right? How much does your mastiff weigh? Zorba weighed in at 343 pounds.
- Sydenham Edwards said, “What the lion is to the cat the Mastiff is to the dog…” and it looks like mastiff owners agree!
- They are loving, protective, and part of the family!
Obviously, we are a lover of all mastiffs and believe each mastiff breed offers wonderful and lovable traits, characteristics, and appearances, but this post is dedicated to the champion of drool, the english mastiff. Congrats EM owners, yours has been crowned the winner of the best mastiff breed competition of the century! Hold it… not of the century!
